I am honored to work with you and your family. This agreement outlines what you can expect in our time together. I am committed to helping you achieve your vision for you and your family.

As your coach, you can expect me to:
  • Encourage exploring changes that will improve your family life.
  • Support you in learning the Collaborative Problem Solving® model, or de-escalation techniques, setting parenting goals, and guidance towards implementing your plan to meet your goals.
• Provide careful listening, powerful questions and honest feedback.
• Respect the confidentiality of this agreement and what is shared in our time
together.

As my client, I expect that you will:
• Be honest with yourself and with me.
• Commit to goals that are meaningful to you.
• Take ownership for your progress and your accomplishments.
• Be responsible for your coaching time and activities.

Payment Procedures
Payments for all services are required in advance. Payment can be made via my online scheduling page, link will be provided via email.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Individual Coaching Sessions
A MINIMUM of 48 BUSINESS HOURS notice is required for rescheduling or cancelling an appointment or you will be charged the full fee for the missed session. I will do my best to find an alternative time, however, there is no guarantee I will be able to fit you in during that week. If you are late to an appointment, I will wait the entire 60 minutes for you to arrive. Upon your arrival we will meet for the remainder of your session time and you will be required to pay for the full session.

Coaching Packages
I have intentionally chosen to work with a limited number of parents at a time to ensure our work together is of the highest quality. Your space has been reserved for you which means that other families may have been turned away or placed on a wait list because of this. There are no refunds after our first session together whether you choose to implement the remainder of the program or not. In the case of an extreme emergency, I am willing to work together to figure out a solution.

Classes and Workshops
You may cancel your class registration prior to your class series commencement. I request 5 days notice. There are no refunds after the series start date as that space has been reserved for you.
To ensure satisfaction with my services, please make sure I am the right Coach for you before you hire me. To aid with that, you can visit my website at www.crisismom.com to read about me, my credentials, and what I teach. You are also welcome to book a Free 30 min Consultation with me before you book in order to make an informed decision.

Session Time
A scheduled time will be ones you select through my scheduling page, or mutually agreed upon if multiple sessions are booked at once.

Cancellation Policy
My time and your time are valuable. Cancelled appointments require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice or are subject to your session fee not being refunded except in true emergencies. If I need to cancel due to an emergency, I will reschedule your session to a day and time we mutually agreed upon.

Confidentiality and Informed Consent
I protect the confidentiality of all my clients. I will only release information about our work with your written permission or if I am required to do so by a court of law.
Breaches of confidentiality, in which I am obligated to report confidential information, are specific in only two instances:

(1) If I have information that indicates that a child, elderly or disabled person is being abused or neglected I am obligated by law to report this information to the appropriate local agencies for the protection of that person.

(2) If a client is in imminent risk to him/herself or makes threats of imminent violence against another person, I am required by law to report this to the appropriate local agencies for protective action.
Though these situations rarely occur in coaching, if they do occur, I will do my best to communicate in advance any necessary and legally obligated protective action that I need to take.

Coaching and Psychotherapy
Parent coaching sessions focus on education and learning new parenting skills to be able to better manage challenging situations with your children. The goal is to help you gain confidence in your parenting decisions. Parent coaching also works to improve the relationship between you and your children using respectful and collaborative approaches. This may result in stress reduction in you and your children.

Psychotherapy is a health service that includes mental health practitioners with training and experience in diagnosing and treating emotional and psychological problems. The coaching provided does not include psychotherapy or any other health care service.

I am a Parent Educator and Coach, not a Psychotherapist.

Disclaimer
Change can be hard, and can potentially lead to some stress initially, even if the change leads to long term improvement. When you change your parenting approach, some things might fall in place and become easier and better right away. It is also normal if there is some temporary regression in your child’s behaviors. It does not mean that the approach is not effective. You and your child are learning new ways of communicating and solving problems, and it may feel clunky at first. This should be a temporary phase, followed by marked improvement in both your confidence, your child’s behavior, and your relationship with them. Please keep these realistic expectations in mind as we work together.

Coaching Commitment
Though at times it may feel like a close personal relationship, the coaching relationship is a professional relationship that does not extend beyond professional boundaries either during or after our work together.

As the Coach, my job is to further build and develop the parenting skills and knowledge you already possess and to assist you in decisions about making changes. I will be honest, direct, and at times challenge you in ways that might feel uncomfortable.

As the client, you will set the focus of the coaching sessions and determine how much change you are willing to make. You will be expected to be honest about your progress and to discuss concerns should the coaching relationship not be meeting your expectations. Coaching does not offer any guarantee of success or definitive changed behavior of your child.

By booking a coaching session with me, you agree to the following:

1. I agree to all terms and conditions above. I am committed to working towards my parenting goals.

2. I understand that parent coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve or touch on many areas of my life including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. I acknowledge that deciding how to handle these issues and implement any changes is exclusively my responsibility.

3. I understand that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association. I understand that coaching is not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment. I will not use it in place of any form of diagnosis, treatment or therapy.

4. I understand that coaching is an unregulated industry and that my Coach is not licensed by any country.  I also understand that for all legal purposes, the services provided by my Coach will be considered to be provided in the USA.

5. I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my well-being during my coaching sessions, and subsequently, including my choices and decisions.

6. I promise that if I am currently in therapy or otherwise under the care of a mental health professional, that I have consulted with the mental health care provider regarding the advisability of working with a coach and that this person is aware of my decision to proceed with the coaching relationship.

7. I understand that all recommendations offered by my Coach are solely for the purpose of aiding me in achieving my defined goals. I have the ability to give my informed consent, and hereby give such consent to my Coach to assist me in achieving such goals.

8. I understand that the use of technology is not always secure and I accept the risks of confidentiality in the use of email, text, phone, Skype, Zoom and other technology.

9. I hereby release, waive, acquit and forever discharge Julianna Drajkó, my Coach from every claim, suit action, demand or right to compensation for damages I may claim to have or that I may have arising out of acts or omissions by myself or by my Coach as a result of the advice given by my Coach or otherwise resulting from the coaching relationship contemplated by this agreement. I further declare and represent that no promise, inducement or agreement not expressed in this agreement has been made to me to sign this agreement.

Your registration indicates that you have read the information in this agreement and agree to abide by its terms and conditions during the professional coaching relationship.

I appreciate your trust and the opportunity to work with you!

With Gratitude,
